Licensed drivers
Every driver holds a valid Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) licence issued by their local licensing authority. We verify this before activation.
DBS checked
All drivers complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service criminal record check. No exceptions.
Insured
All vehicles carry appropriate PHV hire-and-reward insurance. We verify certificates during onboarding and on renewal.
Ride tracking
Real-time GPS tracking on every journey. Your route is recorded and available for review in the event of any issue.
Ratings
Two-way ratings after every ride keep standards high on both sides. Drivers and passengers are both accountable.
In an emergency
Call 999 first. The SOS button in the app records the alert, alerts your taxi office and cabeazy, and shares your live location with your emergency contacts. Neither cabeazy nor your taxi office is an emergency service, so we can't promise a response or a response time.

cabeazy is applying for a Private Hire Vehicle operator licence from Transport for London (TfL), one of the most stringent PHV licensing regimes in the world. A London operator cannot take private hire bookings without one.
Once licensed, we'll be legally required to ensure every driver is properly licensed, insured, and background-checked — and that the vehicle being used is fit for purpose. We'll also have to maintain a complaints procedure and cooperate with TfL audits at any time.
A TfL-licensed operator is also bound by the contract-as-principal requirement, meaning cabeazy will be legally responsible for every trip booked through our platform. Your safety won't be optional: it will be the law.
